While at crease U must play, hit or miss; tap it or dodge it, is all part of play. And so is life. Words of wisdom indeed.

Once again, I love your positive outlook about life, and here you compared it to a baseball game! Very creatively, I might add! and life does throw us some curve balls at times, and at times we score a home run, but as long as we just keep on trying, we score! I enjoyed this poem very much. It is upto us to decide how we should face life and move forward. Obstacles are there on our way... but opportunities too. If we are brave and determined enough, we can overcome hurdles and snatch at opportunities! We shouldn't treat life like a slot machine, putting little and expecting a jackpot! Let us put maximum effort... and hope for the best! As ever this is another inspirational write! Thanks Pat!
