A lovely read.... felt soothed, as if touched by Mother Nature.
Wow, Norah, you are back. Hooray! And with a real gem, too! The company of Nature with no baggage can truly refresh. And it is refreshing to hear your voice again.
A great sadness woke me up last night, I sat by the fire with visions of a world going over the edge, and yesterday's news shooting through my head, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A huge opening stanza- -so immediate, so on-the-edge-of-danger that my heart starts beating faster. A perfect start. I have read so many poems that start so well but peter off into the mundane and colorless. BUT NOT THIS ONE! ! ! You keep it coming.... all the good writing, all the gorgeous words carrying me along- - I absolutely fell in love with these lines too: but sometimes- I just want to rest in the soft silent earth, in the company of ravens and rabbits and listen to coyotes howl, when the world seems out of control, even the sound an owl can draw me down to the silent ground, - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -This poem is top-notch literature. Its a million times a 10- - it's a blazing comet across the PH sky. Resoundingly on my fav list, dear Norah with the magic pen
Nature is the doorway to god for me Susan especially when my world whirls out of control-ahem! ! as if I had any control to start with. Might as well drop that one. Life seems to be a constant letting go. Anyway thank you dear heart
