Life, Times And Sunflowers Poem by Ruta Mohapatra

Life, Times And Sunflowers

Rating: 5.0

Dreams change color with age
From sugary, chocolaty, creamy
To rosy, velvety, flowery
And then to comfy, quiet, sleepy

Souls travel to and fro
On the highway from earth to sky
Do they acknowledge each other?
Exchange pleasantries?

Life for most people
Are rides along gentle curves
Only for a few it is roller coaster
Poor remain poor, rich remain rich, mostly

Pleasant hearts remain pleasant
No matter what surprises life throws
Smiles come easy to them
They carry their halo around
