Life's What Happens Today Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Life's What Happens Today

Rating: 5.0

Eat drink and dance through the life
Let there be no room for strife,
Rob, steal, even borrow rife,
Live as if on edge of knife.

Make love, mirth mixed with laughter,
Make life thine love, marry her,
Set sail to freedom on a rafter,
For, love has no hereafter.

When body's burnt up to ash
In burst of a fiery flash,
Regret not you've made a hash
Of life, make it a big bash!

Present passes off swifter,
Morrow may not be a sweet laughter,
If life's let lurching on an edge,
No use showing impotent rage.
