Life's Not Black And White Poem by DM W

Life's Not Black And White

Rating: 5.0

Life's not merely black and white binaries.
It is a series of subtle lights and shades.
Yet there are still those among us who don't seem
To comprehend this fact. Indeed, everyday
They deal with things via rigid absolutes.
For them, a bold judgement made can never bend.
They dictate the terms that serve what suits
Their prejudices. O they prefer to send
Out rather than receive. They spew out their bile,
Rather than engage in fruitful dialogue.
Indeed, some of them are incredibly vile.
O why should we tolerate these demagogues?

Life indeed is not " merely black and white binaries" because a lot takes place between these extremes. Beautiful poem.
