I
Don't worry about the afterlife
Already too much worry in this life
Wake up to the sun shining
Melodious birds singing
Don't worry about the late rent
About money not being sent
Wake up to a smiling face
To a day of awesome grace
Don't worry about bills not paid
About important goals not laid
Wake up to a song of joy
And to a forgotten toy
Don't worry about being late
You are not the boss's soul bait
Wake up to adventure in life
Try to forget about the strife
Stay free of the afterlife
Live ev'ry moment in this life
Shine with every breath you take
Knowing Life's giving you a break
Butter up your wonderful landlord
Severing the umbilical cord
Write some heart-felt words of love
Coming from the peaceful dove
Pay it forward today
Forget 'bout yesterday
Sing in the shower
Bring her a flower
Arrive early for a change
See it feels somewhat strange
Climb the highest mountain
Toss coins in the fountain
II
Life's lost moments lost...in the afterlife
Struggling to free themselves...in this life
Darkness waking up to...blinding sunlight
Bats rising from blindness to...such foresight
Slum dog billionaire thrusting the rent
Forcing poverty-stricken to the tent
Worldly face of damn sickening greed
Grinding less fortunate to the seed
Wall Street mentality leading to...poverty
In spite of Dale Carnegie's philosophy
Eternity waking up to Ode To Joy
Witnessing the eyes of a child's new toy
Christ-forsaken Christianity
Leading to Today's Mentality
Colour Creed Nationality
Facing...absence of liberty
