WOW! great poem, Darla. this is only the second poem i think i've read on PH which deals with menstruation, which my sister used to call my friend.............my friend is visiting. something like that. the other poem was, i think, by a Chinese woman/girl? in China. so glad you gave me that poet's note! ! ! the last stanza threw me a little bit. i thought YOUR flower had broken! ! ! great rhyming. this is the kind of poem i would like to see in one of my showcases. i could pair it with my Mat'rbation poem! ! ! :) bri my favorite part(s) : Month after month is the eternal cost Or the human race would soon be lost Life goes on monthly, year after year Family grows with children I lovingly rear ..............with hubby's help! ! ! right? and When life's pretty flower becomes a flood Life threatening becomes the hemorrhaging blood Life's flower is no more for loving gestation Time for an outpatient endometrial ablation swimming? yeah, how about a mop head and rubber panties. bad joke? oh well; i'm a man! to MyPoemList it 'HAS TO GO'. bri ;)
