Life's End Poem by Laquory Jones

Life's End

Rating: 5.0

All my Life I have been sweating tears
We are here for a moment then we
Disappear now we are in heaven
as we look back at the world
Still perking ears looking
At the outcome wondering if you're
Keeping our legacy alive through
Out the years no longer we live in
Fear in your hearts we will never die
So we never said goodbye so as a
Tear fall from your eye I feel your
Pain and Love intertwine and your
Hearts will be forever mine so no
Matter where the end might be
Just know you will always have me
A child born and yet scorned for life
So many things in life we have to
Sacrifice that is how it was for father
Abraham, Moses, and Jesus Christ
So it's normal for people to despise
Us maybe until we die or go extinct
Just are human instincts full of jealousy
Emotions that never subsides so
When it's time to do or die between
Two people one has to fall so in the
End who can I call for a friend

Poetry is my release keeps me at
Constant ease nothing comes easily
As I search for constant peace
Was it all worth it in the end two
Individuals can never make amends
Because that's just how society is
All my life I began to wonder as my
Life began to plunder do people feel
The constant thunder that I'm under
Yet I've survived while hatred, pain,
And anxiety was eating me alive I remember
The days I use to starve until my brain
Found its gears and I got recharged at the
Age of eight I carried all my hate and let
It resonate before I trust I would hesitate
Too many people around you start
To evaporate you wonder where
They went are they heaven-sent
Did they reach the golden gate
I still see my friend Lexi's face
Smiling and imagining her at the age of
Sixteen watching her son continue to grow
I never told her but I loved her so
We don't say anything until it's too
Late John Mayer told me to say what
I need to say so before
I turn around to approach the gate
Just know it's never too late.

Profound and meaningful poem with a really great message within. Yes, we must always state what's on our minds to another, otherwise how will they know how we feel. Never leave this world with words upspoken to those we love is my motto. Thank you for this beautiful poem Laquory! 10+++++++++ RoseAnn
