Listen Roseann my child. This masterpiece is so impressive and yet so depressing. It has only one short shade of a central color and it is isolated - though very bright, its character is a burden of maturity... Listen... my child. Perfect piece!

Our story is not over as long as I still remember you with love. Very touching indeed, and a well-writ poem. I must read your poems more.

insistence noun [ U ] uk /ɪnˈsɪs.təns/ us /ɪnˈsɪs.təns/ an occasion when you demand something and refuse to accept opposition, or when you say firmly that something is true This poem is scheduled, nay destined, to grace my October Showcase on my PH site, found in my list of poems under October 2018. bri :) thanks

(cont.) BUT, RoseAnn, are you speaking of a personal love of your life, which it sounds like 'you' are? but....who knows if you are OR not? ? i don't. surely you've done a wonderful job getting your thoughts/emotions across/acrost to me at least, though i'm not done reading. AND (another) surely ...you must admit that the following is not quite accurate: Your life was called and you answered fully, not leaving anything behind..... (cont.)

line/stanza 6: part & parcel: An essential or basic element, as in Traveling is part and parcel of Zach's job. Used since the 15th century as a legal term, with part meaning “a portion” and parcel “something integral with a whole, ” this idiom began to be used more loosely from about 1800....i couldn't have said it any better myself! ! ! Favorite line so far: I hear only the constant echoes of your silence. (cont.)

Dear poet RoseAnn, Life is Poem and vice versa. When we feel sad, the Poem takes us deep into the ocean of Love. A wonderful emotive expression, i'm really moved reading this poem. ++10 Chandan

I like metaphorical language: thoughts at a distance- interesting using space, spatial distances, far-away, light years away is your love, etched in my memory's mind as opposed to my minds memories... Your sad memories have a mind and life of their own haha... Silence echoing - silence can be deafening, echoing... Memories repeat over and over again... Bring the black curtains down for now my dear, let in the light.

I am the 62nd reader to leave a comment on this poem, which proves that poetry which honestly addressing our common human lives in vivid language is the universal voice of LIFE. The last line astonishes me: I cannot conceive of another line that would make this poem live in my consciousness as this one will. You are in it fulfilling the fondest hope of your beloved that you who have life will thrive, that you are living for both of you now but in some mysterious way you don't need black curtains because your beloved lives another life somewhere parallel to yours on earth. And there will be a reunion as you believe. But I find another message in that last line which displays your generosity of a spirit. Many, many people live happily together for years and years. You don't want to darken the joy of their togetherness with your loss, but want their joy to shower your aloneness with its grace. You will let the light of their joy shine on you.

An insightful depiction of mighty spiritual experience that is love - a voyage of pure bliss which transcends life; well articulated and nicely penned from inner recesses of the heart with conviction. An exquisite poem beautifully brought forth. Thanks for sharing.

This is a beautiful piece. Your writing is elegant and very artistic. You carried the emotion of the contemplation effortlessly along, allowing us to be touched by it and moved by the powerful imagery without any distraction of discordant notes. Well done. I look forward to reading more of your work.
