Life runs like a river
Through lands up and down
Through deep foliage cutting its
Course in its way making places drown
Life runs like a river
Making vegetation to flourish
By its sides and people and cattle,
Birds and trees to quench thirst and nourish
Life runs like a river
Shinning in the ray of the sun
It falls into silence and darkness
Once from across the lands light is gone
Life runs like a river
Its journey ends in the sea
Between birth and death it enjoys
Its time and at the end loses its identity
