Life Reduced To Crazy Bean Counter Values Poem by Terence George Craddock

Life Reduced To Crazy Bean Counter Values

Rating: 5.0

neglect obvious has dimmed awareness
beneath shattered lives hopes dreams
pain feelings suffering in fog minds
abandoned when house of cards fell;

this is a society of stilts built on games
distractions run on tea coffee drugs
alcohol to magic prescription powders
the illegal class drugs devastating lives;

few want to stop think face reality
develop mind soul into empathy
understanding awareness catalysis;

change requires too much care effort
for a labour pleasure seeking release
from work problems pressure society;
