'O! yes life is not a feature film' a superb spectacular poem which I have already read several times, after turning the radio off to contemplate individual lines. I have a feeling that for most, especially the culturally impoverished, life is not even a B grade movie, while Hollywood is mostly flash bang blow everything up and shoot to kill; therefore the romance story song dance music of Bollywood is more appealing. So many perceptive slices of what life is and isn't here, strangely I have spent days recently contemplating among other topics life, without writing my thoughts out. Life is not just an artificially reinvigorating cologne; which you profusely applied on your impoverished cheeks; and then smelt only the spirit of goodness on every lane you transgressed, Once years ago back in 87/88 I wrote 'Fine Garments Clothe' about the professional layering perfume as symbolic metaphor, for preparing the mind to face the mental challenges of an academic day; 'Life’s Gateway' in 1990 was another slice of life perception poem. Poets will continue to write many life poems, your poem Nikhil is seriously unique, with wonderfully fresh juxtaposition of images.10+++
