By Mohammad A. Yousef
Beneath the wide-open sky,
where mountains kiss the clouds
and rivers tumble like laughter,
wake up!
Step into the sunlight,
feel it warm your skin,
as morning wraps
its golden arms around your shoulders.
This is your journey—
every road you've traveled,
every stumble, every win
shaped you into who you are.
Take a breath,
hear the whispers of the trees,
the stories in the wind.
They call out,
inviting you to explore,
to leap into the unknown,
to dance in the rainstorms,
to chase down dreams
that play hide and seek.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Embrace the surprises like fallen leaves—
each one holds a tale,
each twist and turn a chance,
a moment waiting to be seized.
Forge ahead,
even when the path seems steep,
when shadows loom like giants.
Trust in your heart,
it's a compass,
leading you through tangled forests
and vast, starry nights,
where fireflies sparkle like wishes
waiting to be caught.
Our fears are stories we write—
pages filled with doubts
that swoop in like crows,
but bravery is the ink
that splashes colors on the gray.
So, dare to plan,
and also dare to be lost.
The skies may be streaked with storms,
yet the sun hides behind the glinting clouds,
always waiting,
always shining.
Hold the hands of your friends,
trace paths through laughter,
each memory a treasure
in the backpack of your soul,
resting alongside wild dreams
and whispered secrets.
Grab onto every chance
as if it were a kite in your hands,
soar high above the trees,
let the wind lift you,
and know,
life is meant to be lived
with open eyes and open hearts,
where every twist is a song,
every turn a new dance.
So, step out, be bold, be free,
for life is an adventure, dare it—
paint your journey with joy and colors,
and make the plain extraordinary.
