By Mohammad A. Yousef
Life is a promise,
a whisper in the morning,
an echo across the years,
inviting us to step forward,
to walk into the light,
to chase the dreams tucked inside our hearts.
It's the laughter of friends,
the warm glow of shared moments,
a path made from choices,
where each step matters,
where each heartbeat sings the song of hope,
telling us:
"Don't wait, don't hold back."
The sun rises,
coloring the sky in gold,
a reminder that each day is a chance,
to write our story,
to paint our canvas bright;
we must not shy away
from the wild things that call us,
from the wishes woven deep within our souls.
There are days of doubt,
when shadows stretch long,
and the road feels heavy;
push through those thorns,
embrace the stumble that teaches grace.
Failure is engraved with lessons,
like scars on our skin,
making us who we are meant to be.
Stand tall under the weight of your dreams,
let the world see the fire in your eyes,
the passion you hold inside.
It's not just about reaching the stars,
but feeling the grit of the earth,
the joy born in every small moment,
a promise to yourself—
to be real, to be brave,
to bloom in your own time.
Life is a promise,
a delicate balance of joy and fear,
we are bound by nothing but our trust;
so take that leap,
dance like no one is watching,
sing like the whole world is your stage,
and fulfill every thread of that promise,
woven through the fabric of your journey.
Let each dawn remind you—
you are a promise too,
waiting to be written,
waiting to be lived,
wrapped in every heartbeat,
waiting to be fulfilled.
