A great poem, really, Souren. You are of those whose poems I like best. What surprises me is your age.Young enough to be able to write so good poems. And yet you write them. I think of you as you was astudent of mine.I'll look always up for a poem of yours.Do not write many.Few, short and of quality ones in the styl you are keeping on.A detail, the last verse baring the 'heaviest' meaning, not generalization, not treatices, just a sensinsitive idea covered in pictures and icons, metaphors.
Thank you Dimitrios.. Your words mean a lot to me.. I always try to write carefully with a good ammount of thought put into it.. People need to study the philosophers, poets, aesthetics, and other forms of humanities.. Dumbing down of the public discourses is ruining the world, where people have forgotten what the word 'nuance' means..
Very philosophical poetry. The concept of nothingness is very relevant in the modern world. From a woman's point of view, love is often a mirage. All has happened and nothing has happened at the same time...its a feeling I can absolutely relate to. I have to give you full marks because you have taken up a difficult topic to write on but you have made it look so easy.
Thank you Nosheen.. I try to lot to do as much as I can to understand the point of view of women.. In a world that trivialises the experience of women at the expanse of celebrating masculinity as strong, and undermine as femininity as weak and 'unstable', we need to have a paradigm shift in these horrendous stereotypes.
Life and love! And, with the peace of the mind. Nice work.
A well articulated piece of poetry insightfully penned with conviction. Life in a nothingness is a very deplorable condition to experience, but I believe that if one holds on to one's faith and learns to take situations and things in slide, definitely the person shall overcome. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Souren. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
Thanks.. But don't you think you seriously overdrive your 'campaign' for your poem? ?
fantastic.... i am running short of words what to say about the poem......
