You could always play the computer if you have a program to do it (or online) . I beat it 5 times in one episode many years ago.: -)
I have several different computer game programs, and play them often. I even have a couple of actual chess computers, but haven't used them for a few years. Thanks for commenting, Spock!
Kim, Yes I miss our Chess gatherings. We can play a game over the phone.. Perhaps, make 15 moves and have continuation games over many days.
I know that you and Scott play Fischer Random Chess over the phone now. One of these days we will play a game of REAL chess over the phone!

Smoky, thanks so much for the beautiful comment. You're right, we can still go out doors if we can find a place without other people, and Utah really is a beautiful state. I love to be in the mountains. Give me a mountain or a beach, and I'll take the mountain every time (except in the dead of winter) !
