Life Goes On (Part 1) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Life Goes On (Part 1)

My noble bread winner died
When my preoccupation was my belly
One of the many sacrificial lambs
To the cause of one nation
If ever that can be
In polluted minds of divergent tribes

Life's whip became cruel
And mama bore the lashes with dignity

To the onlooker
The sun was about for a permanent set
In a visible horizon
But "He" had a different master plan from mortals
Even before we were.

i'd like to have punctuation to help me discern where sentences end. and a Poet's Notes would help me to interpret some things here. is " He" God? the topics are clues, but i see no topic of God or religion. hmm? let me read Part 2. bri :)

Thank you dear friend. The " He" is God, that is why the h is in upper cap. I quite appreciate your suggestions regarding punctuations and topics. Nice learning from you.
