Thanks for such kind words, Roseann. Rarely do I feel content with a poem, but I'm okay with this one. It was written for a friend who passed five years ago. He was an amazing person and a great friend, but life and its questions became too much for him, the burdens too heavy to bear any longer. I still miss him. He's one of a handful of people for whom I continually write. All the best to you and much love.
