Life, Death And Love Poem by Prabir Gayen

Life, Death And Love

Rating: 4.7

LIFE
Thousand petals withered
inside and within,
With a stroke ineffaceable.
A poet with thousand rhymes baffled to bleed,
With pain, agony and anger.
Eyes eternally presence failed
to regain and purge the self,
Devotion, love and compassion
turned into hatred.

Bleeding self is shallow
and waved in endless stream,
without deepth without essence.
Life! thou art trifle, a frail dream,
a desert and a vain man's aspiration.
death! hail to thee,
the ending of suffering,
the rest of strife and the
harbinger of peace and silence.

Hail to thee oh death!
You arefierce phoebus fire
to take my breath
into cool air of cosmos,
O Love! You are tainted by sex
and sensual touches,
Love is short lived and it
becomes sexual dream,
You take my many cherished hours,
My silence and peace,
Life is a chain of events
and it is useless.
