Thanks for sharing your thoughts on 'Life'. My thoughts too are akin to those expressed in the first stanza. Loved the philosophical tone of the poem. And, 'then kisses his wife slow and strong' - Loved this line too. By the way, what is a 'Milligan song'? Couldn't grasp the end fully for not knowing its meaning. A very nice poem, over all.
