Liberating Trilogy: Jamaican Shining Stars! Poem by Joseph Spence Sr

Liberating Trilogy: Jamaican Shining Stars!

She is known as Honorable Queen Mother Nanny. The lady was so sweet as sugar candy.
Enhancing the fight, smiling with much delight, knowing her cause was right.
She was the awesomely true Westward Maroon liberation queen in the highest esteem.
Hailing from Ghana's Gold Coast as an Ashanti or Akan—'A free woman! '

His Excellency the Right Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey Jr. 'Visionary Diasporan.'
Founder, Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Communities League.
Created the Black Star Liner, forging the link between African and North America
Desiring to take his people back to their ancestral African roots, starting with Liberia.

The heroic grandfather, The Honorable Paul Bogle, says, 'No taxation without representation! '
National Jamaican hero, Stony Gut Baptist Church deacon, and Morant Bay 'Victor! '
Usually referred to as a 'Shaka Zulu Pickney, ' an ancestral famed freedom fighter.
Proverbial singer Bob Marley uplifts his grace in the song 'So Much Things to Say.'

Faces printed on currency show the value of national and cultural pride—'None to hide! '
Standing on many shoulders, such strengthening standard-bearers, faithfully abiding!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Trilogy Poetry Form Description: 'Trilogy Poetry' proliferates the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and soul ('Three Entities') ! Its essential thesis symbolizes inspiration, cooperation, and integration. The poem is longer than 'Lines of Antiquity of Microbes' by Arum Saroyan. It's no less than two regular stanzas forming an octave in poetic notations. It's not as long as the epic Mahabharata regarding the Kuru Kingdom. It ends with no more than twenty-four lines like a Malaysian Pantoum, French Rondelet, or Claudette Sonnet. The poem may comprise of any imaginative architecture to arrive at its encapsulating end. No requirement exists for using Shakespearean iambic pentameter, interlocking rhyming schemes, or syllabic accentuations. This is just pure down-to-earth and people-centric poetry. The thesis relates to three entities: person, place, or thing. The corresponding themes should enunciate unity, balancing vision, and overcoming, leading to victory on the ensuing journey. This Trilogy Poem addresses These Persons. The Place - Jamaica. The Thing -Liberation Struggle! Jamaica is the third-largest island in the Caribbean. It has uplifted the heroes fighting upon arrival to liberate the people and inspire everyone to contribute positively, no matter how small. The 'Square for Liberators' depicts monuments of generational pride dedicated to heroes who have fought for goals, uplifting the poor with equal rights, justice, and peace. Ensuing celebrations are held every third Monday annually in October, honoring 'National Heroes Day.' Where would Jamaica be without them?
