Letting Go To Move Forward
They hold the past so tight,
Afraid to move, afraid of the light.
Memories linger, shadows of old,
But they can't move forward if they stay controlled.
The past is behind, it's time to let go,
The future is waiting, it's time to grow.
To find what's new, they must set the old free,
Embrace tomorrow and all they can be.
