Letting Go Comments

Rating: 4.9

I wish I'd known we'd wind up letting go,
I would've saved myself one more heartbreak;
Why would you think I'd like the same mistake?

Deep feelings of sadness expressed in clarity of thought and mind. Soulful with strong emotions. A work of art. Thanks for sharing Danny.

Yes, you do care. This poem would not have otherwise be written. I have experientially learned to remove romance from my definition and use of 'Love' You have written through what poets call inspiration.

Lovely Sonnet, Beautiful thoughts and words. An excellent Sonnet as old, BUT one thing I want to make you clear: I can tell you that God listens to everyone´s prayer and He responds all prayers, whether you are rich or poor, BUT as you perhaps not know: in His time, not in your time when you expect that. Sure, He will answer your prayer, never await the result, but that will come soon. a 10 for the vote. Excellent Sonnet as olds.

Hello Danny, a well deserved Poem of the Day. I especially like the line, A captain lost, ‘n an old familiar sea! —, which seems to capture the mood of the poem.
