The story part of the poem is very confuseing and leads the reader to believe several different things about what is going on. Then, it turns to marriage, then death. A very sad poem. I would like to see your friend write about the trees, nature or something different than sadness and death. then I would give you better input on the overall writing. I know this dosen't help much but there is some possibilities lying within this writer. No one could tell that Robert Frost was a great poet by reading only one of his poems, of course unless it is his poem The Road Not Taken. Your Friend Lynn

I'd like for everyone to know that my friend would like to remain under an anonymous identity. Therefore I am obligated to not tell you her name.
