Letter 2 Poem by Felix Otiende

Letter 2

Pamela Atieno
You gave birth to a left-handed son
And closed your womb,
Why mama?
Two or three could do
Did death ended your vision

I wish i had a brother or a sister whom I could open my heart to
To have a shoulder to cry on
You left me with nothing, just pain
My heart has been bleeding like a river
Why mama? I have been betrayed not once but twice
Why did you let me have life?

Irine Awuor
Babe! Sweetie! I never knew life will be so cruel without you
You gave me something mama denied me for two decades
It was one year of my best moments
The only woman I was proud to call my wife
We shared alot in common,
Babe why you? Cancer is hell on earth
I have seen demons!
I have seen darkness beyond human understanding!
All we wanted was a daughter or a son
To call us mama or papa!
How beautiful was our dreams
Still God will bless me will a daughter and I shall name her Irine Awuor Otiende.
Let our dreams live sweetie.
