We need more of your joyous singing of the Lord! This is religious emotion which embraces life and enhances its delights. You do not have any negativity toward people of different beliefs and they may find this emphasis on the celebratory very persuasive. And religions should be models of persuasion instead of force.

tony, good to see a poem by you, this contemporary rendering of parts of psalm 103. and your last line is right on. from the perspective of the christian tradition, jesus never underscored the importance of doctrines, though many so-called christians think faith is mainly about mental assent to them. faith is trust in God, which implies relationship- a love affair is a good way to describe it. if you read this and have the time, i'd like to hear back from you. may love fill and surround you! glen
