How far can India boast of unity in diversity in this contemporary period is a question thought provoking.. If only humanity prevails above all regardless of caste and creed .Patriotism oozing drop.Really enjoyed. Thanks for sharing

Excellent thoughts conveyed poetically. This is what is required by us all Indians today. Complete harmony. Well said Madathil Nair, wish our news channels would promote such poems rather than the din they create and vitiate issues unnecessarily.

Such incidents are eye openers to the dormant goodness that lie cradled in the human heart.

india is still divided by religion. If there is one person who is a fanatic then truly there are 10 more who think that living a spiritual life not torn by religion, is one who is a good human being. this poem has said it all. Why do papers, journalists, Radios. videos, FB always have this negative videos? They need to earn their bread? or perhaps they are showing the right path.?

A poem imbued with patriotic fervour and an exhortation for a classless, caste less society of universal brotherhood! Indians were once reputed for their unity in diversity! But unfortunately such stories of amity and brotherhood have become part of an ancient lore! The incidents referred in the poem prove that humanity hasn't totally deserted us! Let us once again sing 'Vandematram', imbibing its true spirit! As ever, a great write!

I am not a fan of patriotism, but this was a wonderful poem in acknowledging that all men should be brothers despite religion or nationality and that compassion to all living things is a virtue. Marvelously written and to the principles, I say; AMEN! Thank you

Let them sing Vande Maataram* Children born to a mother Spanning miles and miles Of beautiful earth....make India make India sounds so encouraging. A thought provoking poem shared really. All have to break up cruelty and love humanity at any place. Really wonderful poem shared. Love wins every heart not the cruelty. Nice sharing....10
