Let The Muse Play Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Let The Muse Play

We have crossed different rivers
Different things life gives us
Some have seen war
Others have had peace more

I think if we read a poem
Emotions a poet wants to pour 'em
We might find an aspect disgusting
Even sometimes debasing

This is how we become citizen of the world
Having different stories unfurled
In prose and verse
Let us not be quick to judge and be averse

Let the muse play
Let the poet, poetess have their say
It is the poet, the poetess's day
Let the muse play
