What a wonderful idea! Imagine the bond that would form between people who share the magic of the nocturnal realm, and don't just have dreams but live them, act them out in ways only the unconscious can devise. They could rope themselves together so that they share a common dreamspace in which everything they dream makes perfect sense and if one partner started drifting away, the rope would gently pull back into their common orbit. And people who spent the night pursuing their pleasures of drink and carousing would gaze on them and exclaim, Look at those two dancers! How gracefully they move in perfect sync. That must be true happiness.
