I wish we could still be the same,
But feelings went, and feelings came.
I still hold you close in my mind,
I think about you all the time...

Like when we used to watch the cars,
And lay and kiss below the stars.
I know you know we're meant to be,
And I know you know you still love me.

In my dreams I hold your hand,
We walk down the beaches of sand.
You always look straight through my eyes,
Because we both know that my face lies.

We laugh, we kiss, yeah we'll go far.
