Let's Fly Poem by Nika McGuin

Let's Fly

Rating: 5.0

Today, I arose.
The morning sun kissed my toes.
My heart felt light and warm.
And I was ready to let you go.
So, I did.

It was not
so bad.
I was not quite
so sad.
I couldn't even
be mad.

We've set eachother free.
Now, let's fly!

We've set eachother free. Now, let's fly! Freedom flies all across the sky exuberantly....

There is joy in your rhythm. I suspect that the break-up was not too painful! Your poem takes flight. Quite delightful!
