well, ............well done........................as far as voicing your frustration? and concerns for the mentally ill and others. unfortunately [you may be tired of reading unfortunately.....] the world is imperfect, populated by 'imperfect people', and perhaps created by an imperfect god. yes, maybe god is/was mentally ill if there ever was a god. [ok, now i've an excuse to not try to improve conditions. things are 'just imperfect', and that's the way it is and shall continue to be. HERE: i'll pass the buck to anyone who will take it! ] your use of postal..............White's though go postal.................seems misused. i am a postal retiree and we postal workers and retirees would like to claim going postal for ourselves, thank you! other non-postal people should not, in my opinion, be said to go postal just because they go crazy and maybe shoot a few people. ok? OK! :) :) bri :) p.s. i DO (and have for many years) befriended some people with 'mental illness' through an organization called Compeer aka Compeer Rochester i believe. at present i am not an official volunteer for them as i was for over ten years, but i do still visit over the phone every week with two men about my age who have mental health issues and who enjoy talking to me for 20-30 minutes once or twice most weeks. i used to visit such people weekly until i move across the country. there are Compeer affiliates and similar organizations outside of Rochester New York, where Compeer was started about 40? years ago.
