Let Now No Glistening Word Depart

Rating: 5.0

let now no glistening word depart

I said to my nostalgic heart

when reading poems from long ago

and dreaming of the words they snowed

so sheerly from the softest sounds

made by the creaking of the wind

around the darkened house

let in as if by some celestial hand

and in that long lost story land

remember then:

how I in half lights learned to feel

myself not here but there,

as real.
