Let me see the Higgs boson flash of light
-Gayathri B. Seetharam
(Inspired by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds)
Baby, I have the blues
For I have become merely your beautiful and sensuous wife
Sugar, I have the blues
For I don't see the Higgs boson flash of light no more (Please note: it is a poet's license and is incorrect English)
It stops at the point which is the opposite of its definition
The projectile with the mass gives the mass to the massless organ of mine
And loses its power of the Higgs field
And then, Honey, amidst the joy, there is the blues
But I play an etude in solitude
And doggone it, I am being hit by the blues in my inner sanctuary as well
This morning, I looked at a silver lining in the grey clouds
Through which the autumn sun was peeping out
And I feel I done you wrong, Honey,
For Baby, you rocked me hard and harder in your boat.

Please note: I suggest that you listen to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds for he and his band were on fire at the Scotiabank Stadium last night. He is an amazing artist. Do listen to his song, Higgs Boson blues.
