Having myself always experimented with poetic ideas and ways of expression, I naturally enjoyed this very interesting poem, Fay. I have seen many examples of the three line verse in poetry and I would have to say your fine poem is one of the best examples of that style I have yet read. Triple metered poetry is difficult to write, simply because most poets haven't trained themselves to think that way. The preponderance of poetry on this site tends to be free style, composed primarlily by what I call 'inspirational' poets, those who visualize an idea in their minds and write accordingly without any prolonged thought on the subject. Sometimes their poems turn out well, sometimes they do not. This superb poem, filled with exquisite phrasing, clearly was the exception to that, and what I especially liked about it is that it makes people think. Carl.
A beautifully written piece Fay, nature is always a woder to behold, thankyou Lynda xx
