Soul adrift upon life's stormy sea,
Jesus draweth near to rescue thee;
Ruler of the winds and waves is He;
Will you let Him save you now?

Pilot to the better land?

Do not fear to trust to His control,
He can still the storm tho' billows roll;
His strong arm hath never failed a soul;

Hoping that the tempest may abate;
Be not yours that bitter cry 'Too late! '
