Let Heaven Bear Me Witness Poem by Joshua Adeyemi

Let Heaven Bear Me Witness

Let the heaven bear me witness,
Of a matter that lies there in my heart.
That hatred did strife,
With my glowing princess.
Why is it so?
That they don't take seat in one?
Hatred, strife and oh!
Did wage war against my love'd one.
Is it the creator's wish?
Or by human's law they are dished?
Tell me the genesis of their enmity,
Hatred, strife and love are suppos'd to dwell in conformity.
My bothers persist,
Till malice, the three resist.
