Lest We Forget Poem by Silence Dogood

Lest We Forget

Another day another fight.
People dieing nothings right.

Another war another day.
So many people left to blame.

Another death a brother lost.
Freedom is the ultimate cost.

Another hero killed by man.
Is this the goverments plan?

Another body buried in Flanders Fields.
A soldiers heart becomes his shield.

Another death another cry.
One more man left to die.

Another army filled with regret.
Rows of poppies-Lest we forget
