Lovely poem, Ms. Hayasaki. “Spring is not the beginning “ Nor is winter, the end... The shades of light make life liveable. “”From here my youth does not seem halcyon. My old age does not seem ominous. At this moment in time, I feel rock solid. The light may shift and leave me unsteady.”” How true! !

Bamboo bending over the riverbank. Moss covered walls dotted with maple leaves. Couples in yukata and robes, strolling under the trees. A postcard of pleasantness. ..../// beautiful imagery I imagine in this stanza; really beautiful poem penned; I enjoyed much
