Lesson From A Hibiscus Flower Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

Lesson From A Hibiscus Flower

Rating: 5.0

The hibiscus
the perfect flower with five petals
symmetrical
with circular contour
its impeccable beauty
attracts the attention of all
its life is for one day only...
but alas!
no pollination occurs
and the flower can't give birth to a fruit!
it lives and dies as a flower
and that is the characteristics of many a flowering trees
including the fragrant roses and jasmines
Lust is not essential....
one can exist in this earth alone
with beauty and dignity
emitting the traits of love....
