As the shadow lengthens,
The horizon comes to view.
While we proceed to end one journey,
Another awaits, to be trodden anew!

Perhaps there is symbolism (which I'm not keen on) which speaks of a person's life coming to an end (death) or of some aspect of life such as a job, marriage, and 'horizon' is the beginning of a change. ;) bri
@Bri Edwards, yes there is. Unlike aetheists, I believe that we shall be resurrected at some point in time after death and we shall have another life to live anew, either in heaven or , according as our deeds in this world.
I'd like a Poet's Notes to give us HIS interpretation of his poem. The thing about the horizon is not clear to me, but some readers like that I think. : )
@Bri Edwards, yes, your dissasatisfaction is understandable. I too wasn't satisfied with the frame of the picture. I tried several times to post the original picture which showed the horizon, my main subject juxtaposed with the shadow, but PH would'nt allow a bigger size here.
@Bri Edwards, sorry, my inept hands at editing photography couldn't serve any better!
The shadow of a MAN, with camera in his HAND, surveyed with its lens the LAND.

ANEW: Once more; again. OR In a new and different way, form, or manner. OR... Over again; another time; in a new form; afresh
Heart touching words full of wisdom. Life is all about flux. You can't stay stuck in one place. Each journey comes to an end but not without teaching something new. Then there's eternal journey with its own significance.5 stars
I give 3 stars. I'd give 4 or 5, but for the use of 'anew' which I THINK Khairul is using (incorrectly) to mean 'for the first time'. I MAY be wrong. bri ;)
@Bri Edwards, I used the word anew to mean: Afresh, all over again, in a new form, etc. These meanings are available in a dictionary.
