Leaving For Macau Poem by RIC BASTASA

Leaving For Macau

we leave for macau
to spend
our chinese new year
it is time to
squander
what we have saved
for the past year

so we will watch the
water show
we will take photos
at the tower
we will ride the
gondolas
of that famed
venetian
we will be there
at the copied
effil
and we will stroll
some more
till nighttime.

ah, for we are getting
older
and our times are getting
shorter
we will dance the cha-cha
and the samba
we'll drink tiquela
or have the mamba.
