Teach me
To speak
Such words
Of truth
As when
To die
I will
Leave with
Wisdom
Magnificent, Richard. What this reminds me of is that wisdom does indeed tend to pass away with those entrusted to hold on to it. If only there were a way for some wisdom to remain....immortal. Great poem, Richard.
Thank you, M.J. I think that certain cultures pass on wisdom through rituals, songs, stories, etc.
Powerful poem, Richard :) No one can teach you more than yourself dear, because your wisdom will always be original of yours wonderful poem dear....loved it
I think leaving with wisdom should mean donating one's dead body to a hospital for organ transplant. Otherwise, people generally want to die in peace. The poem spurs one to introspect. Thanks.
My sentiments exactly, Rajnish. Thank you for reading and commenting.
Poetry is Truth. And since you are a good Poet, Your Wisdom Wish has been granted.
Sandra, thank you for the compliment. And for granting me my wish.
