Being alive is privilege to make a mark
To leave for posterity, an indelible mark
As it is with a commercial trademark
A thing or an act standing out like a landmark
I do not propose a tribal mark
Even if you have seen it all, as shown in your stress mark
It may never produce a pass mark
Not all legends crossed the finish line mark
Yet they did their best; learn to leave your own mark
