Ma'am this is a beautiful composition. So full of life and care. A positive vibe. I too have enjoyed Laughing thrush voice in my neighborhood. It's really nostalgic childhood memories when we use to reply back with same noise.

Yes Hassan, i really do believe in respecting the space of not just humans but birds and animals as well. Every living being needs to breath the air of freedom. Thank you for your nice comment.

Dr., this poem is great, it teaches us how to love birds and respect their freedom, we are not necessarily going to keep them in cage, just a framed photo of them makes us happy. The picture you have chosen for the poem is fantastic.

hi, geeta! thank you for introducing me to these two birds. the american robin is a thrush, and i've heard them making laughing sounds as well. (for their dawn calls, if you haven't read it already, see my heart song, as robins greet the dawn.) the baikal teal has wonderful coloring! it interests/puzzles me some that in the bird realm the males are the more attractive. hoping you're well in all ways, glen

What a beautiful inspiring idea of adopting birds of which some are nearing their extinction. I love birds since childhood so much so that I have purchased many of them weak and caged, to give them a few weeks care and love and after they look healthy to me, I free them. Some of them even have revisited me once or twice for a few hours within the first month of their release. 10. Thanks. Subhas.

Thank you Subhas for your wonderful comment. It is sad that some of these birds are on the verge of extinction. Most happy to know you are a bird lover too. God bless you.
