A nostalgic poem which refreshed my beautiful memories spent during summer vacation every year right from childhood. Very blessed to enjoy grandparents pampering in sll respects. Thanks a lot for sharing such a nice experience.
NOSTALGIC POEM. IT REMINDS ME OF MY CHILDHOOD AND OUR VISIT TO THE NATIVE PLACE TO BE PAMPERED BY GRAND PARENTS.
Hi, Geeta! Reading more of you Leaflets. You picture here such a rich time in your life. I have attempted something like this from a little later in my life and a contrasting setting—New York City. Seeing this I wonder if I’ll return to it again, perhaps create something I can be satisfied with. -Glen
Lucky children are blessed with presents- Gifts of untiring, pouring love of Grandparents! A beautiful start of a lovely poem Precious moments of Unspoken words, Undefined pleasure, Unwritten memories! A end that makes the readers smile.
This poem has brought a torrent of nostalgic memories in me, not of growing up with my grand parents, (by the time I was a child, my grand parents were too old) but of my stay at my parental home with a big homestead among coconut trees and paddy fields and a number of fruit trees within the compound. Those were days of great fun! Thank you for reviving those memories....!
Hi Geeta, A very nostalgic poem, not just about nature, but about your love for your grandparents too. It is said often that parents have little time to devote to their children, because they would be working hard on their career, life, making money etc. But when they grow old and retire, they have enough time though their children no longer need their time and attention. So they give all their love, unspent on their children, to the grandchildren. A a recepient of such love from my grandparents, I can vouchsafe how the grandchildren need the love and affection of the grandparents. Nice poem. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Kelly, for your splendid expression of generosity. A wonderful morning of hope! God bless you!
