Caught in the clutch of darkness, I quail
Seeing it shrouding my spirits, I wail
Assailed by afflictions severe
My life is now devoid of all cheer

Caught in the clutch of darkness life thinks to get recovery towards light. Life does not like ignorance. Warmness of light gives brilliance. Pure thoughts fill in mind. We search for God with inner light and hope in our journey. An interesting brilliant poem is excellently penned...10

Dear madam Valsa, My poem is an adaptation with the status of a shadow. I cannot post it in my home page as suggested by you. I thank you for your generosity in complimenting my adaptation.

Beautifully written Valsa - the darkest hour is just before dawn, so be thankful for the darkness, it has a reward.

Dear Dinesh, Your poem-Lead Kindly Human Love is indeed stunning! It has really eclipsed my original one! Why don't you post it on your page for the others to enjoy? It is so original that it cannot be called a mere adaptation! Thank you for this great honour! Let me shine in borrowed plumes for the time being.....!

The Title is fetching, though apostrophy to Light indicates that the soul is not that much in a fallen or sunken state...rhyming is very natural connecting the ideas meaningfully together, it does not look forced one anywhere...Dinesh Nair's presenting the perspective is appreciated, as it is consoling, and has many good arguments...You write on every mood with that particular feeling successfully! ! !

I read it as a supplication and felt its beauty in my heart, nice lines dear Valsa to call upon Light to come to rescue.

Darkness can envelope all of us at one time or another. We may constantly grope for the light until we can see it. When the light finally comes darkness disappears and so does fear an loneliness. Good expressions Valsa. Very enlightening.

When the Soul is sunken, the Prayer to the' Kindly Light ' with 'abiding Hope as company and enough Grace to make each day', emanating from the core of the heart is appealing ! As ever, lovely, Valsa!

I read few times this piece of urs but i missed Volsa....... form, flow, diction and that scholarship.... It seems a translation, Extrinsic and alien in FORM that associated to Volsa but the theme too strong and gracious The title phrase Lead kindly light is awesome... Overall the piece is impressive and poignant............
