Ken, Yes, I enjoyed our visit to the WALL, thank you for taking me there, a true friend and fellow Vietnam Veteran.
This must be a peaceful place, full of memories for you. The Wall could be like the one in Washington.
Michael, A very peaceful place! The WALL is 360 feet in length,80% scale of the one in Washington D.C. and contains 58,317 names of the service men and women who died during the Vietnam War. The Vietnam Memorial Wall Replica dedication was held on, Saturday 14 July 2018.
Hank, I didn't know there was a Vietnam Memorial in Layton! I have been to the one in Washington, D.C., but now I will have to visit that one! Thanks for letting me know about it!
Kim, yes, everyone should visit the memorial. It is a short walk from the Layton High School. We can go together one of these mornings.
From your Kaysville home at calm morning you come and you sit on a bench. Each bench dedicated to one of the eight nurses who lost their lives in Nam calls you and draws your emotion to give a perception of past war memories. The Memorial Site is very peaceful and quiet that you feel. You have nicely presented an emotional poem with excellent expression....10
