For speaking out truths, one needs courage! Your mother has given you the right orientation never to hide truths. The wisdom and ideals imparted by our parents even at an early age will stay deep rooted in us forever! I salute you and your dear mother, Sylvia!

Your mother must have been so proud of you and so happy knowing that you took by heart, mind and soul all the wonderful advice she had imparted to you . More importantly , you put into action those advice by sharing it to other people. Simply conveyed and beautifully written. Liked the lovely title, too.

I agree with the great Poetess that sometimes in Poetry, truth is hidden. Sometimes poems are thought provoking that we will have to dig into the mind of the author the underlying meaning of what has been written. This is I think where the mystery of Poetry lies and sometimes a lot of people do not like Poetry because it is too deep to understand. A piece of poetry is subject to various interpretations that an ordinary layman is hard to understand.

A wonderful advice from a great and loving mother. So very true, We must always lay bare our thoughts from our heart. We must not hide the truth. Truth anyway will always come out. And as the saying goes, truth will set us free.
