How could I have missed this one! :) First of all, I love your character poems. You are able to capture the essence of a person's character so well. This one is no different. The philosophy presented here is also uplifting...reminding us to find out inner strength and to not take the world so seriously and to remember that it isn't all about us anyways...laugh and live. Find your joy despite the pain and the difficulties. Remember to alive and grateful. Well said.
It requires incredible strength for a person to be laughing while they struggle and go through a horroble phrase.. Very few could do that.. A strong poem Edmund. Thanks for sharing..
I completely agree with what you say and I suppose that the main thing to me is that when our health and circumstance allows us the good fortune to be happy we should be. One never knows what may be around the next bend.
